is switching from a mid-senior full stack developer to cybersecurity smooth ?

I am kinda in a dilemma right now as I have recently been introduced to the cybersecurity field and got hooked every since and find the field very interesting.

Question is am I starting from scartch with entry level when it comes to jobs and my career ? Or is there some role where my experience is going to be considered and I wont have to start over.
