Need a private email please

I need help with a private/encrypted email account. I need to keep my passwords safe and my emails linked to my social media's safe bc phone is used by family members to stream TV a lot. Iv tried app locks they don't work. I'm about to try a password manager. But still need a email that's not Gmail for social media. Plz help. I would prefer a free one or an extremely cheap one.
