My Rule for Disposing of Hard Drives or Papers

My rule for disposing of hard drives or papers is that if it contains something I would not post on the Reddit for all to see, I either shred the paper and throw the shavings in my guinea pig trash can, or do the secure delete on Disk Utility then drill holes through all of the platters.
