Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

Hi all

My dads entire department at a huge F50 company got raided by local police and devices both professional and personal were taken (this occurred in France).

My dad said they had a warrant and the warrant required unlocked devices as per French law

My dad got dragged since a few GMs were key suspects and anyone in contact got dragged in the raid.

This got me thinking of how random situations can lead into your entire privacy being …

department devices father france french law local personal phone police privacy professional taken unlocked warrant workplace
