Who else has seen this behavior that can lend some insight into what is going on? The attached image shows entries within the USBStor key (serial numbers partially crossed-out in blue). You'll see multiple devices have multiple unique iSerialNumbers. I have not come across this before and have only been able to spitball the cause (USB dock in use? Plugged into different hardware ports?).
