So I've been an analyst my whole cyber career, however analyst stuff bores me abit, the constant stream of false positives and repetitive alerts.

I'm skilled with Splunk so have been promoted to the cyber operations support team where I will specifically be tasked with the development of SIEM tools.

Is this a good place to be in the industry or should I have remained an analyst?
