Is it just me or does Microsoft often slap a terrible UI together and then patch the solution with an API backend?

Examples:
* Purview and wrong matches
* MCAS custom IP management (no export, no bulk UI management)
* Azure, multiple places
* MDE (anything against multiples)
* Vulnerability Management (no put, only get, no way to automate)
* Phishing Simulation (no email to manager function)
