Malware samplea categories with lateral movement

Im doing a research lab and Im looking for malware samples, perhaps ransomware that exhibit automatic lateral movement attempts (port scanning, creential harvesting, password spray, smb exploit etc)

1) What techniques have u seen commonly used for this?
2) Do u know of a dataset, or category within a malware database (such as malware bazaar) where I can find samples that exhibit this?
