Malware analysts/RE, what’s your day to day like?

I’ve worked in a SOC for awhile now and I’m considering what the next position I want to pursue in my career. I’m between pursuing a malware analyst position or a red team position and I have experience in both.

In the SOC I enjoy triaging TP malware incidents but I feel like a red team position would be more dynamic and less repetitive, but I’m curious if that’s not the case
