Lots of suspicious activity over the last 2 weeks...

Has anyone noticed the sheer number of software updates that have been pushed out over multiple devices/apps in the last 2 weeks? A significant number more than usual in my opinion and sometimes big updates pushed out a couple of days after a previous one. My spidey-senses are tingling but I can't find any reports in the media that indicate there is anything going on... if there is, it's a biggie
