Looking to buy a phone without Google/Apple

I am on my second phone from the e foundation (who I think should be in the wiki for hardware) and I am so far very happy. However, I had refurbished Samsung phones from them and they don't sell those in Canada where I live now, I can only get a new Murena Teracube 2e. I wanted to see if there's other options for a non tech nerd like me to just buy a phone that doesn't spy on everything …
