Logs often store data that can be considered private, for example IP addresses, IDs, names, phone numbers, login data, and similar. Is there a tool that is capable of detecting such data and replacing it with aliases?

My current solution is manually replacing everything, but that is kind of tedious. I'm using Kate, it has the feature to replace every occurrence of a term at once, but still...
