Looking for a mail provider between proton and gmail?

I'm trying to move away from gmail. And I've tried out proton mail as an alternative. However, their encryption won't allow me to use it with apple mail.

I could use iCloud mail. But since I do use it for my cloud storage I think it'd be best to not hand that mail adress to anyone (it's what I did so far...)
