Looking at the (Windows 10) microphone access privacy settings, Edge is not in the apps list, yet in the registry it is there, with the allow value.

The registry path in question:
>Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CapabilityAccessManager\ConsentStore\microphone

I checked if the registry values were linked with the apps in the privacy settings, so I typed 'Allow' for Skype in the registry, flicked back on the microphone privacy settings and Skype did indeed switch back to 'on' in the microphone privacy settings. Setting Skype in …
