.lnk files to drop malware

Due to Microsoft disabling VBA macros in files from the internet. Do you think that .lnk files will be more used to deliver the payload?

It is currently being used for emotet and some other malware strains.

The .lnk files will likely be located in a .zip and arrive in emails. Then contain powershell command to execute.
