Lately been getting calls from unknown real phone numbers

I do not answer calls from unknown numbers due to privacy and security; they go straight to voicemail. I have lately been getting calls, random voicemails from real phone numbers, and seem to be real people behind them. The voices do not seem to be those of Indian/Nigerian call center scammers but of actual Americans. The reason i am saying legitimate numbers is because a simple reverse lookup shows their names.
