Keeping abreast with CVEs - what tools/services are available

For [Blue|Purple] Teams in Cyber Defence www.reddit.com
Since AusCERT shut down their CVE RSS feed, I've been looking for a replacement, without any luck I'm afraid.
Basically I want a service that monitors vendors feed lists/websites for security bulletins, namely CVEs, and present them to me in one way or another.
The NVD does not seem to be a good option as CVEs are reserved long before the actual content and/or patch is released through the vendors advisory channels.
