Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I found some posts \~2-year-old posts on r/privacy and most of them say Discord is an application basically like spyware that sells all your info to third-party buyers. I use Discord because my friends asked me to and I haven't asked them to get anything else (they'd probably say no). Is there any way to delete all my information from Discord and make Discord track me as little as possible?
