Is there any point blocking powershell?

I want to block powershell. Then I realise I have some scripts I need to run. So I look into only running signed powershell scripts (which I haven't figured out yet). But THEN I've just found that people can run PS without invoking the actual PS program!

I haven't found any post that says it's possible to block those Non-powershell powershell scripts.

So am I wasting my time even trying to block it? Surely anyone who's found their way into …
