I recently learned Steam's browser uses Chromium. I know you can disable Google Analytics in your Steam profile settings, but that's of little consolation when such a huge part of Steam relies on Google itself. We can't use addons or modify the browser in any way (to my knowledge). Ads and tracking scripts still come through the browser unless you setup a pihole or something, which is insane in this day and age. Even Edge allows you to use addons! …
