Is someone trying to install spyware on my phone??

I got a weird text message today that looked like one of those basic "here's your verification code" texts even though I hadn't put my number into anything. It was for something called EseeCloud and googling it brought up stuff about some kind of surveillance app. Is this just typical spam or should I be worried??
