Is SANS GCIH worth it if I already have the CISM/been in the field for 5+ years?

My organization paid for my SANS training which was really nice of them and decided to take the SEC504 course. Its all stuff I have done in the past but a good refresher. But I am wondering if its worth coming out of pocket to pay for the exam attempt (They wont pay for the certification attempt only for the course work).
