Within the context of small organisations (and individuals), does something like Bitdefender or Malwarebytes actually provide much more security than just the stock standard Microsoft Defender that comes built-in with Windows 11?


I understand that more fully fledged AV solutions and EDR/MDR/XDR provides an uplift. But those require a bit of know-how to configure and deploy.
