Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I've always unplugged my desktop's microphone when it's not in use. I recently fixed my laptop and in that process, decided to leave the microphone and camera cables unplugged. I'd never use them as their quality is quite terrible, however it's mostly about privacy. I'd use external ones if needed.

Is this going too far? Would/have/do you also do this?
