Is it even possible to avoid all Google apps from automatically sign in when i enter my Google Account on my android phone?

I have searched and found nothing about this. Is it possible to isolate google apps from the account I use to sign in on the operative system. I know it is practically impossible to set up an android phone without a Google Account since you need it to use the Play Store but is there anyway to avoid apps, such as Maps for instance, from using that account too?
