As I said in the title, Google all of a sudden declined my Google One payment method and said that I had to provide them with my government-issued ID. I asked the representative through chat if I could provide any other verification method, such as a utility bill, and I have also verified my PayPal as my payment method. However, they are not accepting any other option besides "government-issued ID." What kind of privacy infringement is this? Is this normal? …
