Is every SOC analyst job the same?

Working as a SOC analyst and already feeling burnt out after a couple months. At first I didn't understand why analysts report burn out so often and now I completely understand why.

\- Endless alerts where you work as hard as possible yet make no dent in the # of alerts

\- co-workers who don't seem to put in the same effort or know much about IT due to no prior IT experience
