Incident Response Programming Day to Day

Hi there,


I currently work as a Cyber Security Analyst (soon a Sr Analyst) I do SOC, IR, Hunting, automation and coding work. Mostly shell scripting in bash. I can also parse JSON + CSV files in Python(Pandas).


I'm starting to look for IR positions/Sr Analysts roles.


For folks who do full time IR, could you describe what sort of programming you do at your current role? I assume automation work, log parsing, and regex.
