I deleted, unsent, a handful of direct messages from instagram in prep for an entire account deletion. A friend of mine informed me that instagram doesn't really delete anything, and that they keep copies of everything. Is this true? I read that instagram claims that they fully delete info after 90 days, so I'm unsure. Is instagram saving the content of my deleted messages or just the meta data?
