If you're trying to remove all your info from background check websites, would it be better to request removal or just flood the web with your false info?

I heard requesting removal is just confirming that the data is accurate and it'll eventually be scraped again and show up on the sites after a while. How would someone go about throwing a bunch of fake data (addresses, DOB's, SSN's(?), occupation, etc) out there?
