Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

Hello everybody!

I think this is the best sub to ask this question. If we use fake numbers to report any crime or something like this to protect our identities, does it violate any laws? Can someone, I mean local authorities, actually detect that you are using a fake phone number? For instance, I would like to call 911 using this [phone number generator](https://quackr.io/temporary-phone-number-generator) to create a fake number and protect myself. Do I violate any rules?
