ID Theft protection

Delete if not allowed. In the market for a ID Theft Protection. I don’t know anything about this aside from the basic stuff like credit, SSN monitoring and freezes. I am based in the US, my employer offers a corporate discount for Identity Guard. Was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions and explanations.
