I want to use TikTok for research, but don't like the privacy invasion

Hey peeps. I want to use TikTok for a little bit of research, but don't want it to read anything else on my network. Of course I will use an older phone, no SIM, connected to a WiFi. I was thinking to create a virtual WiFi just for that reason, but I am guessing wiukd still want to go further than that network?
I would love to find a sort of Virtual Sandbox where to open it ...
