I really hate instant messaging!

Remember the good old days before instant messaging when someone would actually call you up to report a problem or (heavens forbid) log a ticket in your support portal?

Now thanks to instant messaging all I can hear is a semi constant ping in my headphones with people asking me to 'fix this' or 'add that'! It's like a nervous tick going off in my ear canal! I used to get annoying tunes stuck in my brain, now its 'ping!...ping!....ping!' …
