I keep being "followed" by Twitter bots. Is it a privacy concern? Why do they do it?

They're always new accounts (2-month old, max) with just 1 post, very little followers, and a picture of some girl whose face you cannot see.
I keep removing follower and reporting the accounts, but I'm tired of them. What could I possibly have done to become a target of these crappy bots? And what exactly do they get from following me? Is there anything …
