I heard someone on my phone while using Tik Tok- is it possible a strangers microphone was on and somehow I picked up the recordings?

I was using Tik Tok and paused a video to do something. When I paused, I heard some rustling. Weird? I continued, however with each pause I heard some continued noises- sniffling, moving of objects, even chewing. I then paused the Tik Tok for a few minutes and just listened.
