I have a computer running Linux that I'd like to use online accounts with, but I want to minimize the amount of data these platforms collect about me while logged in on this computer. How do I do it?

This is multiple questions in one post that are intended to get me to the same goal (doing things privately on the Internet while still being logged into social media, etc.). I know some tech companies already have a lot of data on me, but I want to keep them from collecting a ton of data on me, especially while I'm on my Linux laptop.
