Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

Is there a privacy-respecting windows desktop/browser podcast player alternative to Google podcast/castbox?

Also when someone plays a podcast on a podcast app/web player (regardless of whether it's privacy-respecting or not), how much data does the original podcast publisher (for example, This American Life) get about him?
