I earned the CySA+ as my first cert, now what?

Just for additional data points, I have about 5 years in the military doing Cyber Security as an analyst. I earned an associate degree to boot in this time. Should I be looking to augment what have with either completing some SANS courses or working towards a CISSP? If I were to do nothing, is this enough to land on my feet in a year when I separate?
