I have a Samsung S21 Ultra, bought in Canada and a Samsung Tab 7 Ultra and I have recently moved to China with my family. Upon moving and buying a new Sim card, every Samsung app requires me to relogin and accept a new privacy policy. Last I heard, Samsung accounts for less than 2% of phone sales in China, but they have succumb to this level of invasion of privacy:
