How to convince people to have better password hygiene?

I want to switch from assembly tech. Position to info sec position in my company, and during my interview I was asked to write down couple bullet points on ways to improve password hygiene in my current dep. (manufacture/assembly). Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance
