How to bypass if Govt. authority intercept connection?

Recently one of my country's Govt. agency start intercepting Telegram Messenger & trying to de-anonymize the local users. The equipment they bought to intercept is from an Israeli Tech Firm.

I wanna know whether a *v/p/n* could save me from that. Or has there any other possible way to save me?
And yes, I'd trust a v*n provider rather than my own Govt.
