How to best compartmentalize WFH and personal computing

I work hybrid so around half of the time I am at home, and while I have a work laptop it's awful and i tend to use my personal machine, but managing the files is becoming a nuisance and I am having to run programs I normally wouldn't due to privacy concerns.
