Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

Hi,

I'm a digital librarian working on digitizing and publishing sensitive documents. I was wondering if there are any published metrics where you can measure a document's risk impact based on the attributes it might contain (like names, address, etc.).

I've been looking at k-anonymity/l-diversity extensions but I'm not sure how well they apply because in documents, it's hard to relate attributes to one another, and the data doesn't exist in a clean attribute-based database. Would love any guidance. Thanks! …
