How really safe is ordering a pc from Amazon?

I was carious if you could check if a pc has been tampered with(keylogger, hardware malware, etc..) in the long process from manufacturing to getting it to your doorstep.

Would there be any definite way I could tell if the pc has been tampered with?

I don’t plan on connecting it to the internet yet.
