How much does lack of certifications hurt in the long run?

I'm working in cyber security field for 7 years now and still don't have a single certification. Among my peers that's pretty uncommon because my company pays for them.

The reason I don't have them is I have ADHD and I just can't get the discipline and focus to study for them.
