How is Everyone Testing Resource Consumption of Security Agents on Endpoints?

Between Antivirus, URL Filtering, vulnerability management, SASE, EDR, FIM, DLP, Patch Management, etc. on most enterprise systems it seems like most of my system resources are being spent with all these endpoint agents. Each vendor always seems to pride themselves in low system resource consumption, even some going as far as differentiating sensor vs. agent in some sort of nomenclature game but is anyone really testing this?
