Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

The only laptop bright enough for my eyes is a Chromebook. Is there a way to DeGoogle it completely? I’ve installed Linux before but I wasn’t sure if there is more I can do. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I appreciate all of you guys for helping me.

Edit to add: More I can do meaning is there a way I can have just Linux or will Chrome OS always be there?
