How do I hide my Twitter/social media from my contact?

I am fairly political and left on my social media (Instagram, Twitter, etc) and my parents (very right/moderate) would be disturbed to see my political affiliations. I was wondering how to hide my social media (Twitter especially) or unlink my social media to my phone number/contact?
