How do I explain what I do to someone who knows nothing about this field?

So I've found myself struggling to explain what I do to someone who has no background in cyber security or even IT for that matter. I'm a cyber security analyst/engineer at a medium sized financial firm with a small team. This means I basically do anything and everything that falls under security, so I have my hands in a lot.
